West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is keen to bring Championship duo Robert Green and Shane Long to the Hawthorns this summer.

The West Ham goalkeeper is set on a move back to the Premier League following The Hammers demotion, and is thought to be keen for a move to the Midlands club. The interest in the England international stems from the £8 million price tag Birmingham have requested for Ben Foster, which The Baggies are unwilling to pay.

Meanwhile, Reading striker Long has caught the eye of a number of English top flight clubs after firing the Madejski Stadium side into the playoffs with 25 goals last season. The Royals are expected to want a fee of around £8 million for the Irish forward, which again may be a stumbling block for West Brom. Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland are all monitoring the situation.

The Daily Mail also reveals that The Baggies may be lining up a move for free agent Owen Hargreaves, who was released by Manchester United after an injury prone spell at Old Trafford.
